How do I turn on text filtering?
Open Settings › Apps › Messages › Unknown & Spam (on iOS 17: Settings › Messages), turn on Filter Unknown Senders, then choose Quietward under SMS Filtering. Filtered texts appear in the Junk, Promotions and Transactions lists in Messages.
How do I turn on call blocking?
Open Settings › Apps › Phone › Call Blocking & Identification and switch on Quietward. You can also tap "Block spam calls" on Quietward's Shield screen.
Why wasn't a text from a friend filtered?
By design, iOS only lets filters see texts from people who aren't in your Contacts. Messages from your contacts always reach you.
A real message went to Junk. What can I do?
Add the sender or a word under Filters › Always allow, or choose the Relaxed sensitivity. With Pro, mark similar texts as "It's fine" in Scam Check and your personal filter learns from it.
Can Quietward silence notifications from other apps?
No app can. iOS doesn't allow it. Quietward's Notification Detox walks you through Apple's own tools, such as Scheduled Summary, Focus and Deliver Quietly, which do this well.
Can Quietward read my messages?
No. The filter only sees texts from unknown senders, decides a folder on your iPhone, and iOS doesn't let it save or send them anywhere. Quietward has no servers. See the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
How do I cancel or manage Quietward Pro?
Open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Quietward, or tap More › Manage subscription in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I bought Pro but it isn't unlocked.
Tap More › Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
